On Wednesday, February 8, 2023, the innovation workshop entitled “Replication Event in the framework of the European INCrowd project” that was held in collaboration with the European Crowdfunding Network and the support of Crowdpolicy, was successfully completed.

The purpose of the event was to disseminate the activities of the project as well as to maximize its scope and impact. The event was attended by members of organizations or public authorities that work on or support the implementation of educational programs among other activities and crowdfunding actions.

The event was kicked off by Ms. Georgia Tseva, National & EU Programs Dept., Crowdpolicy, who spoke about the importance of promoting and implementing Crowdfunding actions, as well as about the 10-year course and experience of Crowdpolicy in the implementation and management of Crowdfunding actions.

Then, Mr. Theodoros Kotzastavros, Open Innovation Lead, Crowdpolicy, took the floor and spoke about how to promote and strengthen such actions with the main goal of promoting and developing innovation and entrepreneurship in all sectors of society and the economy.

Finally, Marifé Gómez, Project Officer, EUROCROWD, representative of the INCROWD project, presented the course and actions of Crowdfunding in various countries of Europe, listing the motivations and objectives for the initiation of crowdfunding action. The short presentation was then followed by an interactive workshop — discussion — during which examples of crowdfunding practices were presented and participants gave their own assessment or opinion on Crowdfunding initiatives.

Crowdpolicy, as a strategic partner in the field of Fintech and innovation, carried out the operational and technological support of the event.
